ARTiculation is part of the Roche Court Educational Trust, which seeks to engage young people in arts through public speaking. This is done by in-gallery workshops called Discovery Days and this October ARTicluation are coming to Plymouth!

As we all know, this is an important moment to re-engage and galvanise new young people into visual culture and art around the country.  ARTiculation Discovery Days have been designed to develop and support students’ research and communication skills, and their understanding and engagement with art. Students will take part in art analysis and have the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills.

ARTiculation will be coming to Plymouth on Wednesday 6th October, 10am-3pm at The Box.

These workshops are open to state-maintained schools and are free of charge to attend but booking is required. You can find out more about Discovery Days and book here.

ARTiculation are also running a Regional Heat of the ARTiculation Prize. The ARTiculation Prize is the Roche Court Educational Trust’s annual national arts public speaking competition for young people aged between 16 and 19. It’s an inspiring and exciting way to showcase how the visual arts can be interpreted and shared with a wide audience.
