Help Music Masters to bring the next generation of outstanding music educators through the doors of schools across the UK by participating in this 15 minute survey!

According to Ofsted, only 1 in 4 schools in areas of deprivation offer music lessons (OFSTED, 2021) and with two thirds of parents and carers citing financial cost as the main barrier to participating in local music offers (MEC, 2021), access to a quality music education has arguably become a privilege, which amplifies those who can afford it and silences those who can’t.

Music Masters are a music education charity rallying a national research effort to learn from schools about how to tackle this growing inequality. Listening to your experiences through this short survey will give them crucial understanding of the current schools music landscape.

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete and can be saved to continue later. You can find it here.
