The C-CARE (Covid Channel Area Response Exchange) initiative, funded by the Interreg France (Channel) England programme, is set to reach businesses and people that have been hit hardest in the pandemic.
Drawing on a range of expertise from local government, enterprise and tourism in the UK and France, the project will support people at risk of exclusion from the labour market and businesses at risk of closure.
Real Ideas will deliver the support relating to the inclusive recruitment agenda, capitalizing on the years of experience we have of working with people on both sides of the employment equation.
The programme provides support via direct and virtual interactions with 40 businesses in Plymouth and the surrounding catchment. It will support all businesses to see the sustainable value of a diverse workforce and has been designed to implement that benefit wherever they are in their journey towards a more inclusive approach.
