Christmas this year will be like no other for us all, however, for many it will emphasise the struggle they face every day. We have all faced a tough year, but imagine being without food during the Christmas period? The Cornwall Christmas Box campaign was started to stop that from happening, with the aim of feeding as many hungry people during the festive season as possible. They have continued to provide food for families in Cornwall since 2012.

Each year Real Ideas support the campaign by providing a drop-off point and encouraging our staff to create boxes for those in need. 2020 will be no different – our Liskeard office at No.2 Pike Street and our Newquay venue C-Space will become drop off points for those creating food boxes.

If you’re planning to make a box this year you can drop it off at either one of our addresses.

Liskeard:
No. 2 Pike Street, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 3JE
Please email info@realideas.org to arrange a suitable drop off time.

Newquay:
C-Space, 5-7 The Crescent, Newquay, Cornwall TR7 1DT
Mondays and Tuesdays: 9:30am-3pm

To ensure we can keep you safe please follow these guidelines when dropping off your box:

  • Ring the doorbell upon arrival and step back from the door to allow social distancing.
  • Please wear a mask.
  • A member of staff will greet you at the door, please state you’re dropping off a box for the Cornwall Christmas Box campaign and they will gladly take your donation from you.

You can find out everything you need to include in your Christmas Dox here. For more information about Cornwall Christmas Box please visit their website.

We’d like to thank you in advance for your donation and wish you a very happy Christmas.
