This week (7th-13th February) is Children’s Mental Health Week and this year the theme is ‘Growing Together’. There is no doubt that the last two years have had an effect children’s mental health. Now more than ever, it is essential that we take advantage of the wonderful resources available to support children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Artsmark Partners, Stormbreak, are passionate about seeing children’s mental health grow and thrive through mentally healthy movement. As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, they have shared three free resources to support children’s mental health, whether they need a ‘stormbreak’ at school, at home or out and about.

10 Ways to B You
This is a pathway of ten fun stormbreaks that can be done in any order, with two stormbreaks on all of the mental health concepts: resilience, self-worth, relationships, self-care and hope and optimism.

Stormbreak Pathway
One of their most popular pathways, this is a journey through the five mental health concepts with fun stormbreaks including Monkey Mind and Buddy Run. There’s a chance to feed back to Stormbreak about how this pathway supports mental health and wellbeing.

Resilience Boost
We all need a reminder sometimes that we can keep going when things challenge us! The Resilience pathway contains a stormbreak animation and popular stormbreaks including Nature’s Trees. This pathway is a bounce-back boost.
