Since 2014 our Liskeard office has been located at No.26 Fore St and from there we have supported thousands of young people to take positive steps towards their futures, along with supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs and start up social enterprises.
Our Fore St offices have been closed since March 2020 due to COVID, with all of our support being delivered online. Now we are in a position to consider reopening in order to provide in person support to individuals and small groups that really need it, it has become clear that the premises at No. 26 Fore St don’t give us the necessary space to do this in a COVID safe way.
So that we can safely provide support to the people and groups that engage with us we have decided to move our offices to 2 Pike Street, next to Barclays Bank. The office space, which includes multiple large rooms, air extraction and circulation giving us more COVID security, belongs to Marcus Kern and his business Duesday, who has been kind enough to invite us to share his facilities. Still located in Liskeard Town Centre and just a stone’s throw from our previous office base, we will begin delivering sessions and support from 2, Pike Street from 12th October.
The move to Pike Street will be a temporary one for us as we intend to move our support and delivery into Liskeard Library once the planned renovations have been completed.
