We’re ready… are you?
The past year has been like no other. COVID has impacted people, communities and organisations like nothing else before it. It’s been challenging to say the least!
Luckily, we’re not the kind of organisation to shy away from a challenge; in lockdown 2020 we supported 26 new businesses to start-up and grow, delivered 5,130 Let’s Create packs out to families in need right across the south west, supported hundreds of out of work young people with skills and employability, and launched the Real Ideas Membership community, now with almost 2,000 Members from across the UK and around the world. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
We’re committed to solving problems and creating opportunity to help build a fairer, greener world. We’re interested in real democracy to help people take control of their own communities; employability, skills and entrepreneurial approaches so that people and organisations can build the future and the work that is meaningful to them; and regeneration that makes our towns and neighbourhoods healthier and more enjoyable to live in and visit. We also believe that having fun – especially through joyful, creative experiences – can enrich lives and develop deeper community connection.
The work we do with individuals, organisations and communities can contribute in all kinds of ways to make the world a better place for more people.
