Part-time Pottery Studio Assistant
The position will involve working with Rebecca in a small and productive pottery workshop. You will be supporting with the hands-on practical work within pottery.
Duties may include:
There is a lot of repetition in pottery so it is important that you genuinely enjoy physical hands-on, repetitive processes.

Training in all aspects of the studio’s pottery production will be given.
Most of the work made in the studio will be fired in an electric kiln but there may occasionally be opportunities to get involved with other types of firing e.g. gas and wood.
Payment:
You will be paid £100 day rate for your work (inclusive)
About me:
I am a self-employed potter who regularly works on projects for high-end restaurants, retail and galleries. I also teach pottery to adults and children.
I’m interested in craftsmanship and good design in general. I aim to make items as well as possible as I believe that beautiful functional items improve everyday life.
