Kate has worked with young people to support them to brighter futures for the last 20 years. She has a wide range of experience of developing, designing work that supports young people to uncover their potential and secure employment that utilises their skills. She has past experience working in the creative industries, in education and for probation. She has a degree from Exeter University, is a trained Action Learning facilitator and has supported and advised local charities and enterprises.
Kate specialises in applying social enterprise principles that transform employability and inclusion to create opportunities and move towards a fairer world for all. As Head of Employability and Pathways, Kate is responsible for the continued success of our work with young people who are at risk of not achieving or not in employment or education through working with businesses and partners to create meaningful routes and pathways to fulfilling careers.
Kate draws on her wide ranging experience of working with statutory services, third sector and businesses to enable success. She is deeply passionate about ensuring that all young people are supported and included in communities and society and we find better solutions that promote inclusion. She loves leading problem solving that enables everyone to succeed and transform as individuals and communities.
