Louise Turner Programme Coordinator

Louise joined Real Ideas in 2019 as a Consultant Learning Facilitator, working on the Game Changer Project. She works in secondary schools in Cornwall to support year 11’s with their progression and future careers.

She has over 15 years of experience in teaching in Further Education in core and vocational subjects and has supported young and vulnerable learners to overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes. Working on various projects to support individuals on their learning journey, she has delivered in the community on employability projects and to new parents on the Young Mums Will Achieve programme.

Louise spent 5 years working with the United States Navy in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation department, where she planned and delivered recreational and sports-based programmes for military members and their families as part of a wider programme of wellbeing, and providing a sense of community for overseas personnel.
