Sam Spake Programme Coordinator

Sam joined Real Ideas in February 2019, working on the Ambition project to create opportunities for young people to get into work education and training. She now works on the Cultivator project and delivering enterprise programmes for young Emerging Creatives.

Graduating with an honours degree in Fine Art from Oxford University, Sam has previous creative and enterprise experience including, working with the University of Plymouth developing & project managing innovation projects linking commercial enterprise and academic research in the Creative Industries. In 2010 she launched Rokka Play, an award-winning wooden toy design company. Sam has experienced of all aspects of setting up a creative enterprise, including product design, intellectual property, manufacturing operations, and amongst other marketing activities, appearing on Dragon’s Den. She is passionate about de-mystifying the process of entrepreneurship for young people looking to make their own ideas a reality.
