Sophie Hembroke Programme Coordinator

Sophie joined Real Ideas in June 2017 as part of the Game Changer team and works mainly in Schools across Cornwall, supporting Young People with their progression pathways after year 11.

Sophie studied Working with Young People, Families and Sociology at Plymouth University, which was the beginning of her passion in supporting young people from all walks of life. Starting off from Nursery Work, Family Support, Social Work, Housing Support and now a Real Ideas consultant.

‘’Working for Real Ideas is great; you never quite know what you’re going to be faced with however at the heart is always the desire to make a positive difference to our people and our planet.

Most importantly to me, I love being able to give Young People the opportunity to have a sense of belonging, self-belief and achievement’’.

Sophie is currently on maternity leave.
