Tom Butt Programme Lead

Tom has been with Real Ideas since 2016, working to support a wide variety of social enterprises, and to develop the conditions and local economies for more social and environmental business to emerge.

A big believer in business as a force for good, and critical if we are to rebalance our societies and create a fairer and more equitable future for ourselves and the earth we rely upon. With a particular interest in circularity and new models of production, he is a director of a sustainable clothing start-up, and works closely with many locally rooted and community businesses across the region. Tom also brings with him knowledge of the charity sector and experience as a technical project manager.
